Calgary real estate market lags behind in Canada

A new report from MoneySense Magazine says Calgary is currently a lousy place to buy real estate. Claire Brownell helped write the article, and says our city ranked 33 out of 35 markets across the country.

Rising interest rates starting to pinch more Canadians, poll says

A new poll suggests a growing proportion of Canadians say they are feeling the affects of higher interest rates.

The quarterly MNP consumer debt index survey finds 43 per cent of Canadians say they’re feeling the effects of higher interest rates, up five percentage points from three months ago.
