Housing demand strong again in November: B.C. Real Estate Association

A strong economy continues to elevate the demand for housing, according to the British Columbia Real Estate Association. The home sales in November were up 20 percent, compared to the same month a year ago, sales dollar volume was up 39 percent, and the average price of a home, at $723,000, was up 15 percent from November of last year.

Canadian housing market expected to slow in 2018, but prices likely to rise

New stricter mortgage rules are expected to slow the housing market next year, but prices are still expected to rise about five percent, according to a report by Royal LePage.
