In December, only three detached homes changed hands in Leaside & Bennington Heights, a 40% decrease over last year. The average dollar values of the detached homes, however, increased 6.3% to $1,743,333.
Yearly Update
2017’s year-to-date average value for the 154 homes is up 16.8% or $1,862,554 compared to the 198 homes that sold in 2016. The 119 detached homes saw a 19.7% increase in average value over homes that traded in 2016.
In 2017, the highest valued sale in Leaside was a detached home that sold for $3,900,000 on Southlea Avenue. The lowest valued sale was a semi-detached on Eglinton Avenue East valued at $835,000.
